Feats of Clay National Competition
The Art League of Lincoln is pleased to announce the 2025 National Feats of Clay National Art Show and Competition.
The internationally renowned clay competition was founded by local ceramicist Ray Gonzales in 1987 and was held annually through 2011 at the Gladding McBean Clay Factory. In 2024 the exhibit was rekindled regionally, and in 2025 the competition is now national.

From painting and beadwork to photography and textiles, these extraordinary works offer a glimpse into the world through each artist’s unique perspective.

The annual Choctaw Nation Art Show is one of the most beloved events at the Labor Day Festival each year. People come from all over the country to take in the talent of our Choctaw artists.

Join us on Wednesday, October 2 from 5–7 PM at the Granucci Gallery for the festive Kickoff Party celebrating the launch of this year’s Open Studios Preview Exhibition. Enjoy light refreshments, mingle with local artists, and get a first look at work from some of the over 80 artists participating in Open Studios – Nevada County West, The Center’s largest annual visual arts event.
With only four days to visit studios across the county during the self-guided tour (October 12–13 and 19–20), the Preview Exhibition is the perfect way to explore the range of styles, mediums, and artists in advance. Find your favorites, make your must-see list, and get inspired for two art-filled weekends to come.
