Toba: Selected Works
In the Choctaw language, ‘toba’ translates as ‘made, created’.
To me, ‘toba’ means to learn, open up to learning, and to become. To create with my hands with materials I have foraged, recycled, or made gives me the feeling of infinite creation, that everything is possible and that everything is within and without me. My Choctaw Grandmother taught me to not question myself but to understand what it is around me and to use my knowledge to make decisions that are best for everyone.
‘My current work is about my Choctaw roots and family, and how they have taught me and continue to teach me how to question, look, and listen. This work is based on self exploration, learning through experimentation and the art of listening to the self.’ - Juliette

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
